Two main factors affecting the measurement of radar level meter:

  1. Pressure influence: Guided wave radar level meter is not affected by air density when transmitting microwave signals, so radar level meter can work normally under vacuum and pressure. When the operating pressure in the container reaches a certain range, the radar level meter will produce a large measurement error. Therefore, in actual measurement, in order to ensure the reliability of radar level meter measurement, care should be taken not to exceed the pressure value allowed by the manufacturer when leaving the factory.

  2. Temperature influence Radar level meter does not need air as a propagation medium to transmit microwaves, so the temperature change of the medium has little effect on the microwave propagation speed. However, the sensor and antenna of the radar level meter are not resistant to high temperatures. If the temperature of this part is too high, it will affect the reliable measurement and normal operation of the radar level meter. If it is really necessary to use it in a high temperature environment, a high temperature sensor should be selected to solve the temperature influence.
