Intelligent rotary vortex flowmeter can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, city gas supply and other industries to measure the flow of all kinds of gases, is the current oilfield and urban natural gas transmission and distribution measurement and trade measurement of the main products.


  The natural gas vortex flowmeter consists of the following seven basic components:

  1. Vortex generator: Made of aluminum alloy, with spiral blades at a certain angle, it is fixed at the front of the contraction section of the shell to force the fluid to produce a strong vortex flow.

  2. Shell: It has a flange and a fluid channel of a certain shape. Depending on the working pressure, the shell material can be cast aluminum alloy or stainless steel.

  3. Intelligent flow meter integrator: It consists of temperature and pressure detection analog channels, flow detection digital channels, as well as a microprocessor unit, liquid crystal drive circuit and other auxiliary circuits, and is equipped with an external signal output interface.

  4. Temperature sensor: Pt100 platinum resistor is used as temperature sensitive element. Within a certain temperature range, its resistance value is corresponding to temperature.

  5. Pressure sensor: The piezoresistive diffused silicon bridge circuit is used as the sensitive element. The resistance of the bridge arm will change as expected under the action of external pressure. Therefore, under the action of a certain excitation current, the potential difference between its two output ends is proportional to the external pressure.

  6. Piezoelectric crystal sensor: installed near the throat of the shell expansion section, it can detect the frequency signal of vortex precession.

  7. De-swirl device: It is fixed at the outlet section of the shell. Its function is to eliminate the vortex flow to reduce the impact on the performance of downstream instruments.
