1. When selecting a flow meter, try not to use the flow rate at the lower limit value, so the diameter of the flow meter should be as small as possible to obtain a larger flow rate and flow range;
2. The flow meter should be used within the technical parameters of the medium working pressure and temperature range. Do not deliberately choose instruments with high pressure ratings and ultra-high temperatures. You should choose instruments based on the actual working pressure and temperature, as the latter are more expensive;
3. In explosion-hazardous places, explosion-proof flow meters should be used;
4. The lower limit flow of the steam vortex flowmeter depends on the working density and kinematic viscosity of the medium, and its upper limit flow is generally not affected by the pressure and temperature of the medium. Therefore, to determine the flow range, it is only necessary to determine the actual available lower limit flow. After calculating the lower limit flow, the corresponding caliber can be determined by checking the flow range table.
