The temperature of the glass rotameter is between -20 and 120, but if it is a rotameter lined with PTFE, it cannot reach such a high temperature. The main component of the glass rotameter is glass, so there must be a pressure limit. Glass tube rotameters with different diameters also have different pressure resistances. In terms of flow range, the normal common flow rate is 2/3 of the maximum flow rate of the graduated tube. The above is about the selection of the flow meter. The following is about the installation of the flow meter:
1: Open the glass rotor flow meter packaging box, check that the model specifications are correct, and then take out the glass rotor. Before installing the filler in the flowmeter, check whether the glass rotor flowmeter is intact and whether the float slides freely up and down smoothly.
2: The glass rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically (the angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line shall not exceed 5°) and the measured medium enters and exits from the bottom.
3: The glass rotor flowmeter should be installed on a vibration-free pipe and have correct support to prevent the introduction of stress.
4: When choosing a glass rotor flowmeter, it is recommended to install a transparent isolation protective panel around it.
5: There should be a straight pipe 5 to 10 times the nominal diameter upstream of the glass rotameter, and there should be a straight pipe section of at least 250mm downstream. It is also recommended to install a bypass pipe next to the glass rotameter to facilitate the glass flowmeter. The rotameter can be repaired, disassembled and cleaned without affecting production.
After the selection and installation of the glass rotameter, let’s introduce the use of the glass rotameter:
1: Before using the glass rotameter, check whether the measurement range of the flowmeter is consistent with the The flow rate of the measured medium is consistent. Generally, the flow value of the measured medium is suitable at 1/2~2/3 of the measurement range of the glass rotor flowmeter.
2: When using the glass rotameter, the valve should be opened slowly to prevent the float from suddenly rising and damaging the glass cone.
3: When using the glass rotor glass meter, sudden changes in temperature and pressure of the medium to be measured should be avoided.
4: If leakage is found in the glass rotameter, you can tighten the compression bolts between the base of the glass rotameter and the glass tube, or consult the Hongqian Instrument Technology Department.
5: The working diameter (reading side) of the float of the glass rotor flowmeter is damaged. The flowmeter should be recalibrated in time to make its measurement accurate.
6: If the cone tube and float of the glass rotor flowmeter have stains adsorbed on them, they should be cleaned in time to avoid reducing the accuracy of the glass rotor flowmeter.
7: The state of the measured medium (pressure and temperature),When the density and viscosity of the substance are different from the graduation state of the flow meter, the display value of the flow meter must be corrected.
8: It is prohibited to disassemble the glass rotor flowmeter before or during use to avoid damage to the flowmeter.
