Electromagnetic flowmeter is a widely used in the industrial field of flow meter, according to the different requirements of the use of working conditions, its power supply will be different.
Next, let’s talk about the power supply methods required by electromagnetic flowmeters under different working conditions.
1. 220V power supply is widely used at present. Generally, there is 220V power supply at industrial sites. As long as the flowmeter is installed according to the requirements, it can work after power is turned on. 220V powered electromagnetic flowmeter can be made into integrated type or split type. If the flowmeter is far away from the control room, try to use 220VAC electromagnetic, because the cable is too long, the signal will be attenuated, and an external 220VAC power supply is required for voltage stabilization.
2. 24V power supply is mainly used in industrial sites where AC power is not allowed or low-voltage DC power is used for safety reasons, or when equipped with flow integrators; the integrator can only choose 24V to power the electromagnetic flowmeter. If the flowmeter is not far from the control room, you can choose 24VDC electromagnetic, which will indeed save power supply, and there is no need to add partitions when laying cables on the bridge;
3. Battery power supply is not widely used at present, and is mainly used in some places where there is no power supply. It also has fault alarm function, upper and lower flow setting and alarm function, and positive and reverse flow switching function. But the price is relatively high.
The above is an introduction to the power supply methods of electromagnetic flowmeters under different working conditions. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
