The antenna has been further optimized, and the new fast microprocessor can perform higher-speed signal analysis and processing, making the instrument suitable for solid materials, process containers or strong dust prone to crystallization and condensation. Note:
1. When the high-frequency radar level meter measures liquid materials, the axis of the sensor remains perpendicular to the surface of the medium; when measuring solid materials, the sensor must be tilted at a certain angle because the solid medium will have a stack angle.
2. Try to avoid devices that cause false reflections within the transmission angle. In particular, avoid obstacles in the 1/3 conical transmission area close to the antenna (because the closer the obstacle is, the stronger the false reflection signal). If it is unavoidable, it is recommended to use a refraction plate to refract the excessively strong false reflection signal. This can reduce the energy density of the false echo and make it easier for the sensor to filter out the false signal.
3. Avoid the feed port to avoid false reflections.
4. The sensor should not be installed at the center of the arched tank (otherwise the false echo received by the sensor will be enhanced), nor should it be installed very close to the tank wall. The installation position should be 1/2 of the container radius.
5. Avoid installing the high-frequency radar level meter in places with strong eddy currents, such as due to stirring or strong chemical reactions. It is recommended to use a waveguide or bypass pipe for measurement.
6. If the sensor is installed on the pipe, the antenna must extend from the pipe. The trumpet antenna extends at least 10mm from the pipe. The rod antenna pipe length is 100 or 250mm longer. The pipe diameter is 250mm smaller. You can increase the pipe diameter to reduce the interference echo caused by the pipe.
7. About the waveguide antenna: The inner wall of the waveguide must be smooth, and the waveguide with the lower opening must reach the required low liquid level, so that measurements can be made in the pipeline. The type plate of the sensor should be aligned with the axis of the waveguide opening. If the measured dielectric constant is less than 4, a reflector must be installed at the end of the waveguide, or the end of the waveguide must be bent into a bend to refract the reflected echo from the bottom of the container.
