The integrated electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument that measures the volume flow of conductive media.

The integrated electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument that measures the volume flow of conductive media. It is widely used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids and liquid-solid two-phase fluids. The measurement results are related to the temperature, viscosity, density, pressure and temperature of the fluid. The liquid-to-solid composition ratio has nothing to do with it, and the measurement results will not be affected when the conductivity changes within a wide range. Therefore, after calibration with ordinary water, it can be used to measure the flow rate of other conductive liquids or liquid-solid two-phase fluid media without any additional corrections. Therefore, the integrated flow meter is a true volumetric flow meter.

The principle of the integrated electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. That is, when a conductor moves cutting magnetic field lines in a magnetic field, an induced electric potential will be generated in the conductor. The magnitude of the induced electric potential is proportional to the effective length of the conductor in the magnetic field and the speed of the conductor moving perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field. In the same way, when the conductive fluid flows in the vertical direction in the magnetic field and cuts the magnetic induction force lines, it will also generate an induced electric potential on the electrodes on both sides of the pipe. The volume flow rate is equal to the product of the fluid flow velocity v and the pipe cross-sectional area (πD)/4. When the pipe diameter D is fixed and the magnetic induction intensity B is kept constant, the measured volume flow rate and the induced electric potential have a linear relationship. If an electrode is inserted on both sides of the pipe, the induced potential can be introduced, and the volume flow rate can be obtained by measuring the magnitude of this potential.

This product is suitable for measuring the volume flow of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipelines, such as clean water, sewage, various acid and alkali salt solutions, mud, mineral pulp, pulp and food liquids, etc.
