Electromagnetic flowmeter because of its measurement tube on the flow field without any obstruction and flexible group form, become many sewage treatment plant flow measurement instrument.
In industrial and municipal sewage treatment plants, the flow rate of the treated wastewater is measured to accurately control chemical reactions and physical biological processes to ensure the normal operation of the entire sewage treatment process. Electromagnetic flowmeters have become flow metering instruments for many sewage treatment plants because they have no obstruction to the flow field in the measuring tube and are flexible in form.
Basic sewage treatment steps: Generally, the treatment of industrial wastewater is mainly to remove harmful chemical media and heavy particles; municipal sewage treatment plants mainly remove organic waste, hydrocarbon oil and household detergents in the water. Although the types of waste content in industrial wastewater and municipal sewage are different, their treatment processes are similar. The sewage treatment process is generally carried out in the following 4 steps.
a. Filtration process, mainly separation of solid particles and oily solid particles suspended on the water surface. The separation is mainly achieved by gravity sedimentation, sand bed filtration, polymer coagulation or a combination of the above three methods.
b. The process of decomposing organic waste into carbon dioxide and water through biological oxidation. This process also includes the process of microorganisms consuming organic waste and converting it into the activated sludge mentioned later.
c.. Mainly removes tiny suspended particles and dissolved organic matter. This is the last treatment process before the discharge is released to the outside world. Chlorination, acid adjustment and removal of odor in the water are all completed in this stage.
d. Sludge treatment The sludge produced by the previous three processes is treated to neutralize organic waste, reduce toxic chemicals and sludge dehydration process. Sludge dehydration is mainly to reduce the volume of sludge when it is transported to landfill or reprocessing.
