1. The liquid should have the conductivity required for measurement. And the conductivity distribution is required to be generally uniform. Therefore, the flow transmitter should be installed away from places where uneven conductivity is likely to occur, such as adding liquid medicine near its upstream, and the liquid adding point should be located downstream of the transmitter as much as possible. 2. The measuring tube of the transmitter must be filled with liquid (except for non-full tube types). The transmitter should be installed in a place where the measuring conduit can be filled with liquid at any time to prevent the illusion that the pointer is not at zero due to the absence of liquid in the measuring conduit. The measuring tube is installed vertically so that the measured liquid flows through the instrument from bottom to top. In this way, measurement errors caused by sediment in the tube or bubbles in the medium can be avoided. If it cannot be installed vertically, it can also be installed horizontally. But make sure the two electrodes are on the same level. 3. The signal of the electromagnetic flowmeter is relatively weak, only 2.5~8mV at full scale. When the flow rate is very small, the output is only a few microvolts. A slight external interference can affect the measurement accuracy. Therefore, the transmitter housing, shielded wires, measuring conduits, and pipes at both ends of the transmitter must be grounded. And it is required to set up a separate grounding point, and do not connect it to the public ground wire of motors, electrical appliances, etc. or to water pipes. The conversion part has been grounded through the cable, so it must be grounded again. To avoid interference due to differences in ground potential.
