What are the technical advantages of thermal gas mass flow meters?

Supmea Instrument Thermal Gas Mass Flowmeter is an instrument that uses the principle of heat conduction to measure flow. This instrument uses the constant temperature difference method to accurately measure gas mass flow. It has the advantages of small size, high degree of digitization, easy installation, and accurate measurement.

The sensor section consists of two reference grade platinum resistance temperature sensors. Using a bridge loop, one sensor measures the flow temperature and the other sensor maintains a constant temperature difference above the fluid temperature, allowing flow measurement under high temperature and high pressure conditions.

Thermal gas mass flow meter has the following technical advantages:

Ø A true mass flow meter does not require temperature and pressure compensation for gas flow measurement, and the measurement is convenient and accurate. The mass flow rate or standard volume flow rate of the gas can be obtained.

Ø With a wide range ratio, it can measure gases with flow rates as high as 100Nm/s and as low as 0.5Nm/s, and can be used for gas leak detection.

Ø Good seismic resistance and long service life. The sensor has no moving parts and pressure sensing parts, and is not affected by vibration on measurement accuracy.

Ø Easy installation and maintenance. If site conditions permit, non-stop installation and maintenance can be achieved. (See Safety Precautions)

Ø Digital design. Overall digital circuit measurement, accurate measurement and easy maintenance.

Ø Using RS-485 communication or HART communication, factory automation and integration can be realized.
