What are the characteristics of FEM electromagnetic flowmeters?

2024-11-21

The measurement principle of FEM electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.

The measurement principle of FEM electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The measuring tube of the flow meter is a short non-magnetic alloy tube lined with insulating material. The two electrodes of the FEM electromagnetic flowmeter penetrate the pipe wall along the pipe diameter direction and are fixed on the measuring pipe. FEM electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly used in petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, textile, food, pharmaceutical, paper and other industries as well as municipal environmental protection, water conservancy and other fields. It is suitable for measuring the volume flow of various conductive liquids.

Features of FEM electromagnetic flowmeter

1. There are no moving parts and flow-blocking parts in the pipeline, and there is almost no additional pressure loss during measurement.

2. Not affected by changes in temperature, pressure, density, viscosity and conductivity (not less than **conductivity).

3. The operation and setting are convenient and can be set intuitively through the keyboard on the panel.

4. The measuring range can be modified online according to the actual needs of the user on site.
