Submersible electromagnetic flowmeter is a widely used in a variety of liquid measurement flow meter. Its working principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, that is, when a conductor passes through a magnetic field, which will produce an induced electromotive force, the size of this electromotive force and the speed of the conductor movement, the length of the conductor, the conductor and the angle of the magnetic field and other factors are related.


  Submersible electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly composed of two parts: sensor and display controller. The sensor is usually composed of an electromagnet ring and electrode, the electromagnet ring generates a magnetic field, when the liquid flows through, the electrode receives the induced electromotive force, the size of this electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate of the liquid. There is a core component in the sensor called the fluid channel plate, which is located in the liquid channel inside the sensor, its role is to divert the fluid, in the diversion at the same time, but also produces an electromotive force signal, this signal is related to the conductivity of the liquid, which can be inferred from the value of the liquid flow.

  In order to ensure the measurement accuracy, the cable between its sensor and display controller needs to be calibrated after connection, and the calibration is generally divided into two ways, one is on-site manual calibration, and the other is through the software to realize automatic calibration. Nowadays, submersible electromagnetic flowmeter has been widely used in various fields, such as water treatment, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper and other industries. Its advantage lies in its non-intrusive measurement method, which can avoid the interference of foreign objects inside the pipeline, and at the same time, since there are no moving parts, it will not be affected by wear and corrosion, and can maintain a good measurement accuracy in long-term use.
