1、Environmental installation options
It should be as far away as possible from the equipment with strong magnetic field, such as large motors, large transformers and so on.
There should be no strong vibration in the installation place, and the pipeline should be fixed firmly. The ambient temperature should not change much. The installation environment should be easy to install and maintain.
2, the choice of installation location
The installation location must ensure that the pipe is always full of the measured fluid.
Select the place where the fluid flow pulse is small. That is, it should be away from the pump and valves, elbows and other local resistance pieces. Measurement of two-phase (solid, liquid or gas, liquid) fluid, should choose a place that is not easy to cause phase separation. Negative pressure at the measurement site should be avoided. The diameter or circumference of the pipeline on the side is easy to measure, and the ellipticity should be small.
3, the length of the straight section
The length of straight pipe section on the upstream side of the sensor installation pipeline should be greater than or equal to 10DN, and the downstream side should be not less than 5DN.
4, flow control valves and regulating valves
Flow control valves should be installed in the sensor upstream side of the measured pipe, flow control valve should be installed in the sensor downstream side. Measurement, usually the flow control valve should be in a fully open state.
5, the installation of the sensor
(1) Clean up the measured pipe mounting base of welding slag and burrs.
(2) Turn off the upstream flow control valve or use low-pressure water supply.
(3) such as DN50 ball valves installed on the installation base: note that the long cavity of the ball valve upward. Check whether the ball valve can be fully opened and closed. If there is a problem, it should be repaired. Install the compression threaded seat, compression nut and rubber sealing ring onto the ball valve. Loosen the set screw and compression nut and insert the sensor insertion rod through the ball valve into the pipe under test. Insertion depth is calculated from the pipe and measured by vernier calipers or steel tape, after meeting the requirements, tighten the compression nut and positioning screw, and should pay attention to the direction of the sensor marking rod pointing should be consistent with the direction of fluid flow.
