What medium can be used for electromagnetic flowmeter?

Electromagnetic flowmeter is an electromagnetic induction flow meter. It is composed of a sensor and an intelligent conversion part. It can measure the volume flow of various conductive liquids. The measured media include acids, alkalis, salts and Paper pulp, mud, waste water, sea water and solid-liquid two-phase liquids.

Electromagnetic flowmeters are mainly used in petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, textile, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking and other industries as well as municipal environmental protection, water conservancy and other fields.

How to choose electrode materials?

Stainless steel 316L is used for the selection of weakly corrosive media such as industrial water, domestic water, sewage, neutral solutions, and weak acid lining materials such as carbonic acid and acetic acid.

Hastelloy CHC is resistant to oxidizing acids, such as nitric acid, chromic acid, and a mixture of sulfuric acid. It is also resistant to corrosion from oxidizing salts or environments containing other oxidants. It has good corrosion resistance to sea water, salt solution and chloride solution.

Hastelloy BHB has good corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids, alkali and salts such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and hydrofluoric acid.

Titanium Ti is resistant to corrosion by seawater, various chlorides and hypochlorites, and various hydroxides.

Tantalum Ta is resistant to corrosion by almost all chemical media except hydrofluoric acid. Because it is expensive, it is only used in hydrochloric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid.

The application scope of PTFE lining is almost all fluids except liquid fluorine, liquid oxygen, ozone, chlorine trifluoride and other fluorides.
