Grounding of the multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter sensor is very important, especially when there is stray current interference in the pipeline.

Grounding of the multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter sensor is very important, especially when there is stray current interference in the pipeline. Only good grounding protection can enable the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter to measure accurately. Perhaps in an environment without such interference, lack of grounding does not affect the accurate measurement of the flowmeter. However, once the environment changes, the smart electromagnetic flowmeter cannot work accurately and stably. Therefore, we must do a good job of grounding the sensor during installation to protect the flowmeter. Multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter creates a good working environment.

The working principle of multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter:

The multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter combines two functions into one system. One is the electromagnetic flow measurement (EMF) function, and the second is the electrical impedance tomography (EIT) function. Both functions are performed with a set of electrodes, but cannot be performed in parallel. There are usually eight electrodes arranged in a ring around the inner surface of the test section. A solenoid coil from an off-the-shelf flow meter is used in conjunction with electrodes to find the flow rate of the fluid. The multiplexer will allow the EMF to acquire data and then switch to EIT functionality. Tomography systems have faster response times and shorter occupancy periods. Impedance tomography data will provide a phase distribution of flow and give a more accurate flow rate for two-phase flow. Thermocouples will also be incorporated to obtain temperature data used to calculate the fluid's dielectric constant.

Features of multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter:

1. Bidirectional measurement system, which can measure flow in forward and reverse directions.

2. The multi-electrode design of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter further ensures measurement accuracy.

3. There are no moving parts in the pipeline, and there is almost no additional pressure loss during measurement.

4. Full digital processing, strong anti-interference ability, reliable measurement and high accuracy.

5. Plug-in structure, simple installation, no flow, and can be installed on-site with pressure opening (1MPa) or less.

6. Small signal cut-off function, users can cut off interfering small traffic through the display panel settings.

7. The measurement results have nothing to do with physical parameters such as flow velocity distribution, fluid pressure, temperature, density, and viscosity.

8. High-definition backlight LCD display, full noon menu operation, easy to use, simple to operate, easy to learn and understand.

9. The smart electromagnetic flowmeter uses EEPROM memory and has a non-power-down clock inside, which can record the power-down time. The measurement and calculation data storage protection is safe and reliable.

10. Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter has password storage function. After the flowmeter is powered on, if parameters are set, the password must be entered before operation can be performed.
