At present we see two types of ultrasonic flowmeter ultrasonic flowmeter, one for the Doppler ultrasonic flowmeter, the other type of time difference ultrasonic flowmeter.
So what is the difference between these two types of ultrasonic flow meters? Let’s take a look together with Supmea.
The first type: Doppler ultrasonic flowmeter uses the phase difference method to measure flow velocity, that is, a sound wave of a known frequency moves in the fluid. Since the liquid itself has a moving speed, the frequency or phase of the ultrasonic wave between the two receivers (or transmitters) changes relatively. By measuring this relative change, the liquid velocity can be obtained; the second type: time difference ultrasonic flowmeter uses the time difference method to measure flow velocity, that is, a sound wave of a certain speed changes its propagation time between the two receivers (or transmitters) due to the flow of the fluid. By measuring this relative change, the fluid flow velocity can be obtained. At present, the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter is used.
The above is the "Differences between Doppler Ultrasonic Flowmeter and Time Difference Ultrasonic Flowmeter" shared by ultrasonic flowmeter manufacturers. Thank you for watching. If you have any questions, you can consult online or leave us a message. We will answer you wholeheartedly.
