Electromagnetic flowmeter installation environment requirements

1. Sensor installation environment selection: (1) Avoid installing in places where the surrounding temperature is too high. The electromagnetic flowmeter with an integrated structure is also subject to the ambient temperature of the electronic components, which is lower. (2) The sensor should be installed in a dry and ventilated place, avoid places that are humid and prone to water accumulation, and should also try to avoid direct sunlight and direct rainwater. (3) There should be no strong leakage current on the pipeline where the sensor is installed, and it should be kept as far away from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields as possible, such as large electrical machinery, large transformers, etc., to avoid causing electromagnetic field interference; (4) The pipeline or ground where the sensor is installed should not be There should be strong vibration, especially for integrated instruments; (5) The location where the sensor is installed should consider the space for on-site maintenance by the staff.

2. Selection of the converter installation environment (1) The ambient temperature is between -10 and 45°C; (2) The relative humidity of the air is ≤85%; (3) There is no strong vibration at the installation site; (4) The surrounding air does not contain corrosion Sexual gas; (5) The converter should be installed indoors as much as possible. When installed outdoors, measures should be taken to prevent sunlight and rain.

3. Installation precautions: (1) The installation direction of the electromagnetic flowmeter can be horizontal, vertical or tilted, without restrictions, as long as the pipe is filled with liquid; (2) ) To measure the solid-liquid two-phase fluid, install it vertically and flow from bottom to top; (3) When installing it horizontally, make the electrode axis parallel to the horizon, not perpendicular to the horizon; (4) Do not install it at a high point or top of the piping system; ( 5) The installation should also avoid or stay away from the downstream of the mixing point of two liquids with different conductivities. (6) There should be ample space near the flow meter to facilitate installation and maintenance. (7) If there is vibration in the measurement pipe, install it near the flow meter. There should be fixed supports on both sides.
