For example, it is necessary to avoid the propagation of bacteria, to facilitate frequent cleaning and to withstand higher temperature conditions and to sterilize corrosive alkaline water and hydrogen peroxide, etc., with the following specific requirements:
- ①The measuring circuit of the sensor is simple and there are no obstructions to flow or areas where the medium is easily trapped;
- ②The materials of all components in contact with the medium meet the requirements of food hygiene;
- ③Media contact parts can withstand the temperature collapse and corrosive effects of steam, alkaline water and hydrogen peroxide cleaning.
- ④Fast response and high measurement accuracy when used in the filling process.
- ⑤It can adapt to low temperature (around 2℃) and humid working environment.
In many liquid flow meter products, electromagnetic flowmeter can meet the above requirements, and its price is decreasing so that the majority of beer industry users recognized, and thus a larger proportion of the actual application. In this paper, combined with the author in the daily work encountered in some examples, electromagnetic flow meter in the beer industry selection, operation and routine maintenance of the application of the problem for a discussion.
