What can I do if I have a problem with my elliptical gear flow meter?

　　Oval gear flow meter is a volumetric flow meter, generally suitable for measuring the flow of high viscosity fluids, widely used in petroleum, petrochemical, liquefied petroleum gas, chemical and other industries.

　　As one of the more commonly used instruments in industry, in the daily work of the use of more frequent, so for some consumers to master the common troubleshooting methods, you can timely judgment and solve the problems encountered in the production process, reduce unnecessary trouble.

　　When there is an elliptical gear flow meter in the rotor does not rotate, may be the filter clogging or impurities into the flow meter so that the rotor jammed, in this case we just need to clean the filter, check the filter is not damaged, or clean the flow meter inside.

　　Another situation is that the rotor rotates normally but does not count, this failure is generally considered to be poor gear mesh or the connection part of the riveting, only need to unload the counter, check all levels of transmission and counter whether there are problems, and try not to make the magnetic coupling to withstand excessive torque, otherwise there may be due to the generation of misalignment and de-magnetization of the phenomenon.

　　The third situation is that the indicated value does not match the actual value, this failure may have to depend on the situation. If the indication value is less than the actual value, it may be that the flow rate exceeds the specified range, only need to flow rate in the specified range of operation or replacement of the flow meter specifications;

　　If the indication value is greater than the actual value, it may be that the flow rate has a large pulsation or medium mixed with gas, just need to reduce the flow rate in the pipeline pulsation and the addition of de-aerator.
