The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is a product of the intelligent flowmeter series.

Case introduction

The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is a product of the intelligent flowmeter series. The measurement principle of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The main components of its sensor are measuring tubes, electrodes, excitation coils, iron cores and It is composed of yoke shell and so on. It is mainly used to measure the volume flow in conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipelines, including highly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and salts. This intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, textile, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking and other industries as well as environmental protection, municipal management, water conservancy construction and other fields.

Debugging faults generally occur during the initial installation and commissioning of the instrument. Once the instrument is improved, the electromagnetic flowmeter fault can be eliminated. Common faults caused by electromagnetic flowmeter during commissioning include improper installation, interference from the external environment, and fluid characteristics.

1. Fluid piping system and instrument installation, etc. This type of failure is generally caused by improper installation of the sensor. For example, the sensor is installed at a high point in the industrial pipe network where gas is prone to accumulate. The liquid is directly discharged into the atmosphere through the flow sensor, resulting in a non-full pipe phenomenon in the measuring pipe. The sensor is installed in a natural location of the fluid. Evacuation is easy to occur in vertical pipes that flow upward and downward.

2. Environmental aspects. Most of the faults caused by the external environment are caused by the interference of the instrument by external electromagnetic waves, motor magnetic fields, stray currents, etc. External electromagnetic wave interference is mainly introduced by signal cables, which are usually protected by single-layer or multi-layer shielding. Current interference can usually be measured satisfactorily with relatively good separate grounding protection.

3. Fluid aspects. Microbubbles in the fluid generally do not affect the normal electromagnetic flowmeter measurement, but the measured fluid volume flow is the sum of fluid and gas. The increase of micro bubbles in the fluid will cause changes in the output signal of the flow meter. If the micro bubbles in the fluid increase to cover the entire electrode surface, the electrode signal loop will be instantly disconnected, causing a relatively large change in the measured output signal. change.
