The wiring method of electromagnetic flowmeter mainly involves power wiring, measuring electrode wiring and output wiring.

Case introduction

The wiring method of electromagnetic flowmeter mainly involves power wiring, measuring electrode wiring and output wiring. Electromagnetic flowmeters are typically wired with two wires, one of which is connected to the current source and the other to ground. Before wiring, you must ensure that the connection between the current source and the electromagnetic flowmeter is reliable, and that the voltage of the current source matches the rated voltage of the electromagnetic flowmeter. Normally, the rated voltage of electromagnetic flowmeter is 24V. When wiring, be careful to avoid wires intersecting or being too close to other electrical equipment or signal lines to avoid interference. In addition, the length of the wire should be as short as possible to reduce the effects of resistance and inductance. The electromagnetic coils of electromagnetic flowmeters are usually connected in a four-wire system, that is, there are two pairs of coils. When wiring, make sure that the forward arrows of the two pairs of coils are in the same direction, otherwise it will cause errors in the measurement results.

The working principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which uses the electromotive force generated by liquid or gas through magnetic field induction to measure flow. The core components of the electromagnetic flowmeter are the magnetic field generator and the electromagnetic sensor. A magnetic field generator usually consists of an electromagnetic coil that produces a magnetic field when an electric current passes through the coil. Electromagnetic sensors detect the electromotive force in the measured medium through wires or sensor regulators. When a liquid or gas passes through a magnetic field, the conductive material in it produces an induced electromotive force. This induced electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate of the conductive substance. The electromagnetic sensor measures the magnitude of the induced electromotive force and converts it into the corresponding flow rate value. Electromagnetic flowmeters can determine parameters such as fluid speed, volumetric flow, and total flow by measuring the induced electromotive force. It usually has high accuracy and reliability and can be used in industrial production and life fields.
