Electromagnetic flowmeters are now widely used in sewage treatment, water purification and other industries due to their easy installation and use, simple structure, simple operation, high accuracy, measurement results not affected by external influences, alarm functions and fault diagnosis. So, what is the reason why the measured value of the electromagnetic flowmeter does not match the actual value?

Analysis of reasons why the measured value of the electromagnetic flowmeter does not match the actual value:

(1) Whether the transmitter circuit board is intact;

(2) When the liquid flow rate is too low, the measured liquid contains tiny bubbles. The bubbles gradually rise and gather above the pipe, and the liquid circulation area will change. When there is too much gas, interference signals will be generated, affecting measurement accuracy;

(3) The signal cable is poorly connected or the insulation performance of the cable is reduced during use, resulting in inaccurate measurement;

(4) )The converter parameter settings are inaccurate.

Solutions for electromagnetic flowmeter measurement values ​​inconsistent with actual values:

(1) Check whether the transmitter circuit board is intact. If the junction box is filled with water or corroded by corrosive liquids, the performance of the appliance may be reduced or damaged. At this time, the circuit board should be replaced;

(2) Ensure that the flow rate of the liquid being measured in the pipeline is above the minimum flow limit so that the electromagnetic flowmeter transmitter can work normally;

(3) Check whether the signal cable connection and cable insulation performance are intact. If the signal wire is loose, just reconnect it; if the cable insulation does not meet the insulation requirements, you need to replace it with a new one;

(4) Reset the converter setting value and check the zero point of the converter and full scale value.
