Electromagnetic flowmeter common problems and ways to deal with.
Electromagnetic flowmeter: Generally, the faults reported by users include: 1. The measurement value fluctuates 2. The measurement value is inaccurate 3. There is medium but the meter displays zero 4. The meter has no display or has a display but no output. Common solutions are: 1. The reason for the fluctuation of the measurement value may be: wiring problems (applicable to new installations flow meter), usually the shielding wire is not connected properly; due to user process problems, the pipe may not be full (it may be that the early installation does not meet the installation conditions, and the pipe must be full; during later use, the pipe is holding air and no exhaust valve is installed) Is the valve at the front of the flow meter fully open? If not, it may cause fluctuations. Check whether the conductivity is too low. If the conductivity is low, it may cause large fluctuations. Check whether water has entered the flow meter. If water has entered, it can be directly judged as bad. If there is a quality problem with the flow meter, check whether the resistance of the measuring sensor is normal. Use GS8 to test whether the converter is normal. If conditions permit, you can replace it with a normal one. 2. The reason for inaccurate measurement values may be: the user has connected the wires incorrectly. Check the wiring. Check whether the sensor and converter instrument numbers are consistent. If they are not a set, you need to check the pipe diameter, GK, GKL, and excitation frequency. Whether the user has closed the bypass pipe and whether the medium is a medium that is easy to scale. If it is easy to scale, it will also cause Inaccurate measurement 3. There is medium flow. The reason why the meter displays zero may be: Check whether the connection line is normal. There may be an interruption in the middle line. Check whether the pipe is full. Make sure the medium flows through the sensor. Check whether the front and rear valves are open. Check the conductivity of the user's medium. Is it within the appropriate range? If the conductivity is low, check whether the threshold value is too high. 4. The reason why the meter has no display or displays but no output may be: measure whether the user’s power supply is qualified, check whether the user’s output wiring is correct, and use a multimeter to measure whether If there is current output, check whether the fuse in the converter core is broken (IFC300 has two fuses, power fuse and output fuse; IFC100 has one fuse)
