DN250 electromagnetic flowmeter is a high-precision, wide range ratio, small pressure loss, long life flow measurement equipment, widely used in a variety of conductive liquid flow measurement. In the installation and maintenance need to pay attention to some details to ensure its normal operation and measurement accuracy.
Electromagnetic flow meters have a high measurement accuracy, specially calibrated up to 0.2%.
The ratio of the maximum flow rate to the minimum flow rate is generally 20:1 or more for a wide range of applications.
There are no flow stoppers in the measuring pipe, so there are no additional pressure losses.
There are no moving parts in the measuring pipe and the sensor life is extremely long.
Different lining and electrode materials can be selected for different media to ensure the long-term stable operation of electromagnetic flowmeter.
The converter can simultaneously display volume flow percentage, actual flow rate and cumulative flow rate, and has a variety of communication interfaces and protocols to support.

DN250 electromagnetic flowmeter is a device for flow measurement based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It utilizes the induced potential generated when the liquid flows in the magnetic field to measure the flow rate of the liquid and then calculate the flow rate. The device is widely used in industrial fields, such as waste water treatment, water supply, mud and corrosive liquid measurement.
Electromagnetic induction principle: when the conductive liquid in the magnetic field for the perpendicular direction of flow, will cut the magnetic induction line of force, thus in the pipeline on both sides of the electrodes to produce induced electric potential. The size of the induced potential is proportional to the flow rate of the liquid.
Signal conversion: The sensor transmits the induced potential as a flow signal to the converter. After a series of digital processing such as amplification, conversion, filtering, etc., the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate will be displayed on the LCD screen.
DN250 electromagnetic flowmeter is suitable for measuring various conductive liquids, such as domestic water, sewage, mud, lime and corrosive liquids. However, it should be noted that it can not measure the flow of gas, steam and pure water. At the same time, the temperature of the liquid also has certain requirements, generally not higher than 180 ℃.
1. When measuring mixed-phase fluids, select a site that does not cause phase separation.
2. When measuring two-component liquids, avoid installation downstream of uneven mixing.
3. When measuring chemical reaction piping, it should be installed downstream of the fully completed section of the reaction.
4. Try to avoid negative pressure in the measuring tube.
5. Choose a place with low vibration for installation to avoid electromagnetic field interference.
6. Easy to realize separate grounding of sensors.
7. Avoid the presence of high concentrations of corrosive gases in the surrounding environment as much as possible.
8. The ambient temperature should be within the range of 0-60°C and the ambient relative humidity within the range of 10% to 90%.
1. Periodically check the electrodes and linings of the electromagnetic flowmeter for wear or corrosion.
2. Clean the measuring pipes and sensors to ensure measurement accuracy.
3. Periodically check that the converter's display and communication interfaces are working properly.
