- 1、Metal tube float flowmeter must be installed vertically in the pipeline without vibration. The fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the vertical degree is better than 2 °, horizontal installation of the horizontal angle is better than 2 °;
- 2、In order to facilitate maintenance and replacement of the flowmeter, cleaning of the measurement pipeline, installed in the process pipeline metal tube float flowmeter should be installed with bypass piping and bypass valve;
- 3、Metal tube float flowmeter inlet should be more than 5 times the length of the pipe diameter straight section, the outlet should be 250mm straight section;
- 4、If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed; if the medium contains solid impurities, consideration should be given to adding a filter between the valve and the straight pipe section;
- 5、When used for gas measurement, it should be ensured that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter in order to make the float work stably;
- 6、In order to avoid deformation of the flowmeter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial with the flange of the flowmeter and parallel to each other, the pipeline is supported in order to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flowmeter, the control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flowmeter.
- 7、When measuring gases, if the gas is discharged directly into the atmosphere at the outlet of the flowmeter, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, otherwise there will be an air pressure drop at the float which will cause data distortion.
- 8、When installing PTFE lined instruments, the flange nut should not be arbitrarily and asymmetrically tightened too tightly, so as not to cause deformation of the PTEF lining;
- 9、Instruments with liquid crystal display, try to avoid direct sunlight display, so as not to reduce the service life of the liquid crystal; with lithium battery-powered instrument, try to avoid direct sunlight, high-temperature environment (≥ 65 ° C) so as not to reduce the capacity and life of the lithium battery.
- 10、For small diameter and low flow rate media flow measurement; reliable, low maintenance, long life; for straight pipe section requirements are not high; a wide range of flow rate ratio of 10:1; double line large LCD, optional on-site instantaneous/accumulative flow rate display, can be with backlight single-axis sensitive indication; non-contact magnetic coupling drive.
