Electromagnetic flowmeters are generally installed after installation. It can run normally for a long time without maintenance, and then it will need maintenance and daily inspection.
What is the reason if the electromagnetic flowmeter cannot receive the signal or is too weak? The editor will give you a brief introduction and processing method below.
Electromagnetic flowmeters are generally installed after installation. It can run normally for a long time without maintenance, and then it will need maintenance and daily inspection. Not receiving a signal or the signal being too weak are minor problems. So don’t be surprised if it happens. If you follow the steps below carefully, you will be able to solve it easily.
1. First confirm whether the pipe is filled with fluid.
2. If the pipe is too close to the wall, the probe can be installed on the pipe diameter with an inclined angle instead of on the horizontal pipe diameter. The Z method should be used to install the probe.
3. Carefully select the dense part of the pipe and polish it sufficiently, apply sufficient lotus root mixture and install the probe.
4. Carefully and slowly move each probe near the installation point to find the maximum signal point to prevent the ultrasonic beam from reflecting out of the expected area due to scaling on the inner wall of the pipe or local deformation of the pipe. Miss a mounting point where a stronger signal can be received.
5. For metal pipes with serious inner wall scaling, you can use hitting methods to make the scaled parts fall off or crack. However, it should be noted that this method sometimes causes no gaps between the scale and the inner wall. Does not contribute to the transmission of ultrasound.
Do you understand this issue now? Keep it simple. These problems should be solved when starting the selection and installation.
