Accurate measurement requires the selection of the correct instrument. The quality of the instrument is the main thing. The second is to consider the installation requirements. If the installation is not standardized, it will not work. To give full play to the role of the instrument, we must pay attention to the installation of the flow meter. The following technical staff will introduce to you the installation requirements and precautions of the plug-in electromagnetic flow meter:

1. Plug-in type The electromagnetic flowmeter should be kept as far away from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields as possible;

2. The installation site should not have strong vibrations, the pipes should be firmly fixed, and the ambient temperature should not change much;

3. Installation location It must be ensured that the pipeline is always filled with the measured fluid. The length of the straight pipe section on the upstream side of the sensor installation pipeline is greater than 8D, and the length of the straight pipe section on the downstream side is not less than 5D;

4. Clean the welding slag and burrs on the installation base of the measured pipe;

5. Install the DN80 ball valve on the installation base. Pay attention to the long cavity of the ball valve facing upwards. Check that the ball valve switches normally; install the compression thread seat kit on the ball valve and loosen the positioning screw and compression nut. , insert the sensor insertion rod into the pipe under test through the ball valve. The insertion depth of the sensor is 3mm beyond the base. After meeting the requirements, tighten the positioning screw and compression nut. Also note that the sensor direction mark is consistent with the fluid flow direction.

6. The opening on the pipe under test is larger than the base pipe. The depth of the opening of the base pipe inserted into the pipe under test is equal to the welding joints on both sides;

7. Plug-in electromagnetic flow The meter uses stainless steel welding rods for flat welding. After welding, ensure that the flange surface is parallel to the axis of the pipe;

8. Connect the power supply and other connections to the converter standard according to the instructions of the plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter. Check the meter display after powering up. When it is confirmed that the measured pipe is full of fluid and the flow rate is zero, check the meter display and it should be zero;

9. After the fluid in the measured pipe flows and is stable, check the meter display. This is When turning the sensor direction to make the display value larger, lock the positioning screw and the compression nut;

10. For occasions where the flow rate changes range is large and the fluid speed is lower than the low flow rate required by the flow meter for a long time, the reduction should be considered. The process pipeline may use two flowmeters, one large and one small, installed in parallel;

11. Insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeters, like ordinary electromagnetic flowmeters, should be installed on vertical process pipelines to prevent floating The solid settles on the electrode, causing the oil content in the fluid to rise outside the measurement range of the electrode. If the flow meter is installed on a horizontal process pipeline, the electrode of the sensor should be on the horizontal axis to avoid interference from the electrode due to bubbles. , leading to measurement errors;

12. Vertical installation. When the sensor is inserted into the pipe, the angle with the vertical diameter of the pipe section should be less than 5°, which is suitable for measuring clean media with small pipe vibrations;

13. Tilt installation. The angle between the axis of the sensor and the axis of the pipe being measured is 45°. It is suitable for large pipe diameters and the measurement medium contains otherIt measures the liquid flow rate of impurities. This installation method has small water resistance and is not suitable for hanging.
