High-pressure resistant sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter specially designed for use in industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical and bioengineering.

Case introduction

High-pressure resistant sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter specially designed for use in industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical and bioengineering, which have very strict hygiene requirements for measuring instruments. It is capable of working in high-pressure environments and meets both CIP and SIP requirements.

The working principle of the high-pressure-resistant sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter:

1. Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction: Its working principle is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductive liquid flows in a magnetic field, according to Faraday's law, the ions in the liquid will generate an induced electromotive force (voltage) in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field. The magnitude of this induced voltage is proportional to the liquid flow rate.

2. Flow tube: usually includes a flow tube with a smooth inner wall and no pollution dead ends. The flow tube is made of stainless steel or other materials that meet hygienic standards to ensure that the medium will not be contaminated.

3. Magnetic field system: Magnets or electromagnets are installed on both sides of the flow tube to generate a stable and uniform magnetic field area. The magnetic field is usually perpendicular to the axis of the flow tube.

4. Electrodes: Two electrodes are placed opposite each other on the wall of the flow tube. These two electrodes are in direct contact with the fluid. When a conductive liquid flows through the magnetic field area, a potential difference will be generated between the electrodes that is proportional to the flow rate according to the flow rate of the liquid.

5. Signal processing: The potential difference detected by the electrode is sent to the signal processor, where the potential difference is converted into a flow signal. The signal processor is also responsible for linearizing, amplifying and converting the signal to output a standard signal.

6. Converter: The converter is an important part. It receives the signal from the electrode and converts it into readable flow information. The converter can also provide other functions, such as self-diagnosis, parameter setting, communication interface, etc.

High-pressure resistant sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter has the characteristics of no moving parts, no blocking parts, high measurement accuracy, wide range ratio, corrosion resistance and easy cleaning, and is widely used in industrial applications that require sanitary conditions and high-pressure environments. has been widely used.
